You are seeing the National Day decoration that we have done for year 2007 at blk 689 multi storey carpark.

It is Singapore's 42nd year of National day.

This year project was undertake by Tan Hock Seng.

We used the leftover flags from past year and have it sew up.

It takes many hours by Doris and Jennifer to sew the two lettering 4 and 2.

Thereafter, with Ng Cheong Hoe and Steven Lee Ah Too, he gathered the other helpers to put it up.

All the men were up at various floor level to try to tie up to the mesh while Jennifer co-ordinate the placement from ground floor. The task was difficult and almost given up by project chairman Tan Hock Seng.

It takes the perseverance of Jennifer to drive us and we managed to complete it.

The RC volunteers on that day were Krishnasamy, Steven Lee Ah Too, Ng Cheong Hoe, Wong Kwai Meng, Donald, Tan Hock Seng and Doris.

The resident volunteers were Diana, Chong, Yong and Doris.

This decoration was rated consolation prizes within Yew Tee Constituency.
