Best Decorated Zone @Yew Tee

Yew Tee Zone 12 RC was voted the Best Decorated Zone within the Yew Tee constituency.

Result as follow : -
1st – Yew Tee Zone 12 RC
2nd – Yew Tee Zone 4 RC
3rd – Yew Tee Zone 5 RC
4th – Yew Tee Zone 9 RC

A committee was formed months ago headed by Jennifer Neo.
“Recycle & Cost Saving” was the main ideas mooted during the meeting.

Job assignments were then given out to the committee members.

A. Coca-cola can / CD
I. Mobilising residents and coffeeshop assistants to collect used Coca-cola cans and CD
II. Wash collected cans and put to dry
III. Drill hole on both side of empty cans
IV. Extract copper wire from CRT monitor for tying up
V. Glue the empty cans together
VI. Form lettering with empty cans and CD
VII. Tied into wire mesh

B. National flags
I. Plan the layout
II. Purchase tying cloth strings
III. Machine sewed flags together


Members and residents were mobilised on 12th, 18th and 19th July to lift the decoration onto place.
